A few things: Today, at about 6pm, I walked into the bedroom, the window was open and I heard birds tweeting and realised it wasn’t that dark. My tummy did a little flip at the thought of spring (although I’ve heard rumours of a polar vortex heading to the U.K., so probably shouldn’t get too excited). But it made me smile. Next, for all of you who recommended we watch Outlander, thank you, we love it. However, you maybe could’ve warned me about episode 16, season 1 😳😲. I think I’m scarred for life. And finally, we’re off to Leeds tomorrow night to see Jonathan Pie. Yey! Oh, and out of the whole family, Elvis is definitely the hardest to work with 🙈. And that’s all we have for today, folks 😉

#sponsored - What do you do, as a woman, when you’re told that your wardrobe just simply isn’t complete without a LBD (little black dress)? I mean, I’m not a huge lover of dresses in general. I’m yet to master the art of comfortably sitting on the floor, playing with the kids, without showing my knickers. I rarely shave my legs. I panic that if I ever have to pick up a dropped coin (or worse still, a dropped Penny mid-tantrum) I’ll show my bum to the world. And owning anything ‘little’ these days, doesn’t sound too appealing. LBT, little black trousers, however, now that I can get on board with. These @marksandspencer trousers are everything a mother and capsule wardrobe owner could want. A classic, transitional piece that can be worn for any occasion. Your knickers stay underwraps and your legs can remain unshaven - all hail the LBT. #TheEverywearTrouser #MyMarks

Phew! What a day. My e-course, All That Is Instagram, has sold out! So, cheers to that Boy Dom, cheers to that. Now to celebrate. Boy Dom’s opted for red wine while sitting on the sofa watching football, and I’ve gone for a cup of tea with the added bonus of breakfast out in the morning. Who does ‘celebrating’ best? 😉

I’ve just been having a nosey around my Explore page, on the hunt to find some new and inspiring accounts to follow, but I’ve had no such luck. Instead, it was full of body transformation images, celebrities, and makeup tutorials that would only result in me looking like a clown if I even tried to attempt them. Granted, this is all my own doing. I continue to click on all of these images, and I just can’t seem to resist a trashy TV ‘star’ stalking session and now I’m being punished 🙈😂. So, who do you suggest? Who do you turn to when you need a pick-me-up? I like funny accounts, creative ones, super cool fashion bloggers, accounts that are doing something different to the rest? Who should I be following? I’ll check them all out later on this evening.

Me: What dinosaur should we make? Penny: A really scary one! I’m struggling to relate an image of P being chased by a dinosaur to the day’s events or my life (definitely can’t pass this off as being ‘authentic’ 😂). But, this is what we have to resort to at the end of half term - anything to keep them amused. #scenefromtheceiling

There hasn’t been any cards, flowers, chocolates, or over-the-top romantic gestures (we both forgot Is was Valentine’s Day until after lunch 🙈), but he’s there, holding my hand, always ❤️ BTS over on my Stories #sponsored #gifted handmade bags by @bennybeeleather. The kind of rain that I’d be happy to dance in ✨😉. Now onto the important stuff: pancakes. I want to know how many you managed to eat (I peaked at 2, poor effort, I know). What you had on them (I went with Nutella and bananas, then the original lemon and sugar. Let’s not talk about Boy Dom’s). And whether you’ve got leftovers for tomorrow 🥞

If you’ve got spots, then we’ve got them too. Showing our love and support for little P who is finally over the awful stages of chickenpox, but is still covered in spots from head to toe (they’re even in her mouth!). But, when it comes to family, you have to share the good and the bad, so we couldn’t just stop at matching clothes 😉 #WHPwithlove #allthatisthree We’ve all been confined to the house this week, with not a lot going on (one of the effects of having a contagious child 😷😉), so fill me in with all your news - what’s been going on? What’s been your wins of this week? Mine include having a full night sleep again on Friday night, seeing my school friends for food and board games last night, and eating all the nachos while watching Coco at the cinema.

I really wish Boy Dom would stop taking these candid photos of me on a morning 😉. I’m only doing my hair, putting on my makeup, eating my breakfast, drinking my tea and squeezing in a bit of work all at the same time. I’m sure we can all relate to this, am I right? And it seems like it’s not just me who’s been growing a few extra pair of arms this week. @bookishbronte is at it too 😁

I have a sneaky suspicion that Penny *loves* having chickenpox. She thinks being covered in spots is pretty spectacular, the fact that they’re everywhere (in particular, on her bum), hilarious. Having Boy Dom and me at her beckoning call far too useful (I’m sure I’ve heard ‘maaaam’ a thousand more times that usual), and overnight she seems to have turned into a mini comedian, even waking me up at 2.30am to give me some witty one-liners. And here’s me thinking she’d be laid up in bed for a while, with no appetite and sleeping 🤷🏻♀️😂. It’ll be me who needs the rest after this week.

Usually, we try to create images that are centred around what’s been going on in our lives (or at least, try to as much as we can). I know it must come as a surprise to you, but this one is not one of those images 😱😉. I haven’t been exploring a jungle today or rubbing shoulders with a gorilla. Instead, I’ve been picking up a poorly Penny who’s fallen victim to chickenpox 🤒. So, in the same way that this image was created - just for fun - there are 7 animals/insects in this image, who can spot them all? BTS over on my Stories #scenefromtheceiling
